AutopHECaMETRO


The project AutopHECaMETRO is the outcome of the collaboration between the Environmental Pollution Control Laboratory, A.U.Th. and BD Inventions and the scope is the development and design of a robotic pH and Electrical conductivity EC measurement system. The ultimate goal is the automation, the faster and more efficient management of soil sample preparation and parameter measurement (pH & EC) procedures in analytical and environmental laboratories, which will has high accuracy, extremely competitive price in the market, while complying with the requirements of International Standards.

Moreover, the development of state-of-the-art software to correlate EC prices with the salinity tolerance of different crops, which is an indirect indication of a productivity effect, and which will be a unique solution to help farmers control soil health and achieve and maintain higher crop efficiency.

The project was co-financed by the European Union and National Resources under the "Central Macedonia" Program Action of the NSRF 2021-2027, "Innovation Investment Schemes." The project aims to develop an innovative robotic system for pH-EC measurement in soil samples.
