AutopHECaMETRO

AutopHECaMETRO for Soil and Water precision measurements

AutopHECaMETRO with its easy-to-use software will allow trouble-free measurements of the electrical conductivity (EC) and pH of soils, sendiments, water and biological samples.

Description

Precision agriculture requires reliable and fast electrical conductivity (EC) and pH measurements of soils among other quality control parameters to investigate the qualitative and quantitative degradation of soils.

AutopHECaMETRO is a prototype instrument which will allow the automatic calibration of the pH and EC electrodes, the addition of extraction solutions and the automatic stirring of the samples, while the user-specified schedule in the software will let even the non expert users to run the samples measurements.

Analyser: The robotic XYZ sample handling system will be consisting of two (2) separate probes, one (1) for the EC and one (1) for pH / alkalinity. To avoid contamination of the samples during simultaneous analyses, the EC will be analysed first, and the pH will follow.

Capacity: Maximum capacity of the analyzer will be 28 containers of 120 mL, while the possibility of adding a second electrode will speed up the measurement process.

Software: The versatile robotic software will allow operators to determine the release time, automatic stirring time, warning information and sampling depth, while the sample temperature will be recorded in real time. The software will allow the creation, import and export of the measurement schedule for automatic start and end. Exporting the experimental results to .xls, .csv files, and printing them will be included in the main features.
